Felix Nicolau este profesor universitar la Departamentul de Limbi Straine si Comunicare al Universitatii Tehnice de Constructii din Bucuresti. In 2003 si-a sustinut teza de doctorat pe literatura comparata si este autorul a cinci carti de poezie (Kamceatka – time IS honey, 2014), a doua romane (Tandru si rece si Pe mana femeilor) si a opt carti de interpretare literara si teoria comunicarii: Homo Imprudens (2006), Anticanonice, 2009, Codul lui Eminescu, 2010, Estetica inumana: de la Postmodernism la Facebook, 2013, Cultural Communication: Approaches to Modernity and Postmodernity, 2014, Comunicare si creativitate. Interpretarea textului contemporan, 2014 si Take the Floor. Professional Communication Theoretically Contextualized, 2014. Este membru in consiliile editoriale ale revistelor Metaliteratura si The Muse – an International Journal of Poetry. La capitolul pasiuni si interese intra teoria traducerii, teoria comunicarii, literatura comparata, studiile culturale, studiile britanice si americane.
